Once the Check'In 2 is installed, a test is necessary. Here’s the simplest way to perform a break-in test:
1 Step outside the area to be secured and close the door. Wait one minute (this is the delay during which the Check'In 2 detection is paused).
2 Strike the door with strong knocks (either 5 slow knocks or 15 rapid knocks).
3 An audio message will then announce: "Warning, this site is secured, the alarm will activate in a few seconds...".
4 Once the audio message ends, the microphone records a 15-second audio clip. The alarm will then sound for three minutes.
5 Simultaneously, based on your preferences, you will receive a notification on your smartphone and/or an SMS and/or an email. The alert screen on the Check'In mobile app allows you to turn off the alarm.
