If you wish to move your Check'In, for example after a relocation, here are the steps to follow:
Uninstalling the Check'In
Open your Check'In app, then tap on the Check'In you wish to uninstall. Go to the "Information" tab, then to "Advanced Information" at the bottom of the page. Tap on "Uninstall Check'In".
Resetting Check'In
Press the button on the right side of the Check'In for about 9 seconds. Release it once the LED lights up red. You will hear a beep, indicating that your sensor has been reset.
💡 If you did not hear a beep, repeat the procedure!
Storing the Check'In
Step 1: Remove the Check'In from its holder
To do this, remove the SafeStick located in the middle slot of the sensor (you can use the tip of a paperclip or pen). Then place it in the slot at the top of the Check'In. Slide the Check'In upwards to detach it from its holder.
Step 2: Remove the batteries from the Check'In
💡 Wait until the LED stops blinking red and you hear the beep. If you remove the batteries before, the Check'In reset will not work and you will have to start over.
Step 3: Detach the Check'In's holder
To detach the Check'In's holder from the opening, simply pull it off. If you are concerned about damaging the holder, use adhesive remover or a heat source to more easily remove the adhesive strips.
Reinstalling the Check'In
Your Check'In can now be installed in a new location! 🎉
