To make your Check’In Pro 2 operational, it is important to follow all the steps outlined below:
Getting Started in the Check’In Application
1 Download our Check’In application from the App Store or Play Store.
💡 Do not insert the batteries into your Check’In Pro 2 sensor yet! This will be requested later during the installation process.
2 Open the Check’In application and tap on "Create an account". Then follow the instructions. If you already have a Check’In account, tap instead on "Login".
3 Once you're in the main menu of the application, tap on "Add a Check’In".
4 Scan the QR code located on the back of your Check’In Pro 2, below the battery compartment, so that it is recognized by your application.
5 Make sure that the IMEI, which is the serial number of the Check’In Pro 2, is correct. If so, tap on "Continue".
6 Define the name and usage type of your Check’In Pro 2, as well as the type of door on which the sensor will be installed.
7 Your Check’In Pro 2 is now configured on our server.
Device Installation
1 It's now time to install your device! Insert the batteries ensuring their polarity (positive and negative sides), then assemble your Check’In Pro 2 support as shown in the application.
2 Using the degreasing wipe included in the Check’In Pro 2 package, clean the surface of the door on which you will install your device. It should be located about 10 cm below the door lock.
3 Remove the protective films from the two adhesives of the Check’In Pro 2, then stick the device to the door. Keep your hand pressed on the Check’In Pro 2 for 15 seconds to ensure the box adheres to the door.
Activating the Device
1 Once the Check’In Pro 2 is installed on your door, it will automatically connect to the 4G LTE-M or NB-IoT network.
💡 Be patient, this can take up to 10 minutes!
💡 If, after this time, your Check’In Pro 2 does not emit white light, reset it. To do this, press the button on the right side of the Check'In Pro 2 for about 9 seconds. The LED will light up red and you will need to release the button. You will hear a beep, indicating that the Check’In Pro 2 has reset and rebooted. If you don't hear a beep, repeat the process.
2 It is now time to activate the sensors of your Check’In Pro 2. To do this, and following the instructions in the application, press the button on the right side of the Check’In Pro 2 quickly twice. You will hear a melody, indicating that the sensors are activated. The Check’In Pro 2 will automatically start the calibration process.
💡 Be careful not to touch your door while the Check’In Pro 2 calibrates!
3 Follow the various detailed steps in the application (open the door, close the door...).
Address and Emergency Contacts
1 In the application, and once the above steps are completed, add the postal address where the Check’In Pro 2 is installed.
2 Once done, you have the option to add up to 2 emergency contacts by tapping on "Add an emergency contact". Fill in the required information, then tap on "Validate".
Your Check’in Pro 2 is now installed and operational! 🎉
