If you want to change the location of your Check'In 2, for example after moving out, here are the steps to follow:
Step 1: Uninstalling the Check'In 2
Open your Check'In app, then tap on the Check'In 2 that you want to uninstall. Go to the "Information" tab, then to "Advanced Information" at the bottom of the page. Tap on "Uninstall Check'In".
Step 2: Resetting the Check'In 2
Press the button on the right side of the Check'In 2 for about 9 seconds. Release it once the LED turns red. You will hear a beep, indicating that your sensor has been reset.
💡 If you didn’t hear a beep, repeat the procedure!
💡 Wait for the LED to stop blinking red before proceeding to the next steps. Otherwise, the Check'In 2 reset will not have worked, and you will need to restart the procedure.
Step 3: Storing the Check'In 2
Step 1: Remove the Check'In 2 from its mount
To do this, remove the SafeStick from the middle slot of the sensor (you can use the tip of a paper clip or a pen). Then, place it in the slot at the top of the Check'In 2. Slide the Check'In 2 upwards to detach it from its mount.
Step 2: Remove the batteries from the Check'In 2
💡 Make sure the LED is no longer flashing red and that you have heard the beep. If you remove the batteries beforehand, the reset of the Check'In 2 will not work, and you will have to repeat the process.
Step 3: Detach the Check'In 2's mount
To detach the Check'In 2's mount from the opening, simply pull on it. If you are afraid of damaging the mount, use solvent or a heat source to loosen the adhesive strips more easily.
Step 4: Reinstalling the Check'In 2
Your Check'In 2 can now be installed in a new location! 🎉
