If you're testing your Check'In Pro 2 and it doesn't detect any break-in attempts, follow these steps:
1 Make sure you've followed the steps described in this article.
2 Check that your door or window opener is compatible with the Check'In Pro 2. For more information, click here.
3 Make sure your Check'In Pro 2 has the latest update. To do this, open your Check'In app and select your Check'In Pro 2. If your device is not up-to-date, you'll find a yellow box on the "Summary" page prompting you to update your Check'In Pro 2.
4 Make sure the sensors on your Check'In Pro 2 are activated. To do this, tap on your door or your Check'In Pro 2. If the sensors are activated, the device's LED will flash green. Otherwise, it won't react. If the sensors are not activated, press the button on the right side of your Check'In Pro 2 twice quickly. This will activate the sensors. Then, retest your Check'In Pro 2.
5 The Check'In Pro 2's delay time is 60 seconds. If you've just closed or opened your door, wait a minute, before testing your alarm.
💡 The delay time prevents false alarms related to normal door opening or closing. The Check'In Pro 2 reactivates one minute after you've closed your door.
6 Give the door at least ten strong knocks.
💡 If the knocks are spaced apart, you'll need to knock about five times on the door to trigger the alarm. If the knocks are closer together, you'll need to knock at least ten times.
💡 Go for it! An attempted break-in causes very strong vibrations!
7 If the issue persists, a reset of your device may be necessary. To do this, press the button on the right side of the Check'In Pro 2 for 9 seconds. The LED will light up red, and you'll hear a "beep," indicating that the device has been reset.
💡 Once your Check'In Pro 2 is reset, don't forget to press the device's button twice quickly to activate the sensors! You should then hear an activation melody confirming that the sensors are activated.
