If you receive multiple "Check'In fallen" notifications within the same day or over several consecutive days, here are the four possible causes:
Incorrect calibration of the Check'In 2
The calibration step during the Check'In 2's installation was not done correctly (for example, the door was moved during the process). Wait 4 hours for the Check'In 2 to recalibrate automatically. You will no longer receive notifications afterward.
Check'In 2's mount not properly secured
During installation, the door surface was not cleaned properly, or the Check'In 2's mount was not pressed firmly against the door for the recommended 15 seconds. The Check'In 2 may have detached by itself. Reattach it properly.
Check'In 2 not fixed to the door
If you complete the calibration step during the Check'In 2's installation but do not place it on the door (e.g., the Check'In 2 is left on a table), you will receive fall notifications. Reset the Check'In 2 by holding its button for 9 seconds until the LED flashes red. This will deactivate the sensors. Reactivate them by pressing the button twice quickly once the Check'In 2 is placed on the door. It will recalibrate automatically.
Break-in at the protected site
If an intrusion alert followed by a door opening appears in your app, there is a high chance that someone has broken in and removed the Check'In 2. A site visit is necessary to assess the situation.
