If you own a Check'In or a Check'In 2
1 Step outside the secured area and close the door. Wait one minute (this is the delay period during which the Check'In detection is paused).
2 Knock firmly on the door (either 5 slow knocks or 15 quick ones).
3 An audio message will then announce: "Warning, this site is secured, the siren will activate in a few seconds..."
4 Once the audio message ends, the microphone records a 15-second audio clip. The siren then activates for three minutes.
5 At the same time, depending on your preferences, you receive a notification on your smartphone, and/or an SMS, and/or an email. The alert screen in the Check'In mobile app allows you to turn off the siren.
Here is a video explaining how to trigger an alert:

To test the detection of suspicious vibrations, refer to the instructions above ⬆️. To test motion detection, follow these steps:
1 Close the door to the secured area, but stay inside. Make sure you are in a location where the motion detector cannot see you (for example, go to another room).
💡 If you cannot see the motion detector, it means it cannot see you either!
2 Wait for the delay period. By default, the delay period is 15 minutes, but it can be adjusted between 0 and 90 minutes. If you wish to change it, please contact our customer support.
3 Walk past the Check'In Pro 2.
